When adding to an existing circuit, you test circuit before adding to it to check it is ok right?
Then the test circuit you are adding right?
But on a MWC in the IR section, are you putting down IR of whole circuit, or bit adding to it?
Slightly confused thats all

I check that the circuit I'm adding to is suitable then add any extra points then re-test the circuit as a whole. These figures are then noted on the MWC.

Hi there
You need to test the exisitng circuit to see that it is safe to add on to before starting work. You should then test the whole circuit again to check that there is no problem with your new cables. It is this final result that should go on the certs. If the new cables are fine (IR greater than 500MOhm) then the results should be the same anyway.

Hope this helps
