Hey all,

I have a Texecom Premier Elite 24. The system sets as soon as the exit door is closed (which is what we would like). If I exit and the access PIR was triggered as I am closing the door, the system fails to set / the alarm sounds.

In Wintex, the door is of zone type Entry/Exit 1, with Guard set. The exit room is set as zone type Guard Access, with Access and Entry/Exit 2 ticked. The area is set as timed exit, arming mode Entry/Exit and there is an exit settle delay of 6 seconds. Other parameters can be shared as needed.

Any help appreciated!

Many thanks
Dan

Will give that a go tonight :) thanks. I'll set it to 8 seconds, as the PIR light seems to stay on for 7.

Noting that the system seems to ignore the settle time and arm as soon as the door is closed!

sounds like you have been playing 8 seconds was the default exit settle time if memory serves me correctly.

whats in the event log exactly.

E/E arming mode requires door to be opened and then closed and the exit settle time expires the system sets.

Do you have the correct arming setup for the area in use?

Thanks all, extending the settle time was indeed the correct solution on this one! Perhaps I had tweaked that by accident earlier on
