My Texecom Premier Elite 24 (v5.01.03) and SmartCom (v03.03.00) (self installed system) has been working fine for several years, but is now showing an ATS path fault, Com 2 fault, and no ATS available. The engineer menu won't allow me to access the UDL/digi options to check it out - when in Engineer mode, selecting the UDL/digi options menu just emits two beeps (one low, one high). No message is displayed when this happens.
I can still connect to the system using Wintex via the SmartCom. I can also access the alarm via the Texecom app.
Comport 1: SmartCom
Comport 2: ComIP module
I think another user with a similar issue simply removed the two connecting wires on the SmartCom and reinstalled them (I'm guessing this is essentially a power cycle), but it has been so long since I touched the system. Is this the best approach? If so, can I just enter engineer mode (to disable tampers) and just have at it?
Any advice please?
