Evening All, Quick question, this will be on my front door so I want it on 2 zones, 1 for reed and 1 for shock.
Prem 48 With EOL Wiring... Is this correct?

I'm going with
Z1 to Reed
4K7 Reed to Reed
Reed to 2k2 to Z1

Z2 to Tamp
Tamp to Alarm 2K2
Alarm to Alarm 4K7
Alarm to Z2

+/- 12v straight forward

Also, what's the RANGE Hi/Lo Jumper for?

Have I gone overboard with the 2K2 on the Reed to Z1 is my concern I should add

You need to use both resistors, you can't omit the 2K2 for the reed switch.

Easiest way if you have run 8 core would be to use a pair for power, a pair for the shock sensor alarm contacts, a pair for the shock sensor tamper and the remaining pair for the reed switch alarm contacts. The 4 wires for the shock part go to the AA and TT connections of the first zone, the reed switch pair go to AA of the second zone with a link of wire between the TT of that zone.

Advising to not wire it EOL? Bit strange as EOL is better I've always been told/read.

Oh and I only have 6 core to it anyway as it's an existing wire run that's been run when the front door had been removed in the past so it's neat and hidden
