Both really decent sounders. I would go for the Novagard 6, as it has dual Piezo's over the single in the Odyssey 3E.

Yes, but the 3E is a better choice.
Unless you go for the Rapier 6000

Ease of fitting.
Ease of connections.
Easy "Engineers" operations.
No dips to fook about with.
Clean lines.

What are yours about the other?

The same, apart from there are no dip switches, but a couple more jumpers than the Odyssey has. Generally, these are never touched for standard installs.

There's also:
-A spirit level for those who cannot self level
-In-situ lid holding which is excellent for fitting and maintenance
-360 degree adjustable screw slots
-The main benefit of the twin Piezo's

And the reason why you want it is?

Each have a preference.
Personally a Rapier, but the cost frightens the hell out of punters.

Oddy 5 then for the twin piezo`s.

Rapier for max protection against tampers looks and sound.

Why argue, companies have their preferences.

Used to use ES1s then Eurobells then Flashguards and then Rapiers. Now Oddy 3`s and Rapiers.

There's no argument here. Just providing a point of view and hoping that there's enough info for the OP to make an informed choice.

I personally use both types, after a decent discount on bulk. The 3E goes with the 'economy' domestics and the 6 with the better spec'd system.

oddys are pretty good, the OP will probably go for an oddy in the end, but i have a nova 6 on my house and i would recommend it any day!
