Texecom Premier 24 Full Set issues

Newbie on here so hi to everyone

I have installed a Texecom Premier 24, 2 Keypads, Texecom Connect
Only 1 area (a) in use with no area suites configured

Simple setup

Full armed = all zones and entry/exit as arming mode
Part Armed - E/E zone changed to guard and one PIR omited

When i try to full arm the system, if the entry/exit zone (front door) is already open, i get a warning that zone is preventing setting, if i close it, I am then asked if i want to arm

If the door is closed when i full set the alarm, open it and then close it, everything works fine and the entry timer starts when i return to the property

Is this normal, I understood that the entry/exit zone was ignored during timed set?

At default the arming mode is E/E

Cheers, i will change from Timed to E/E and see if that helps

have you changed the right area to the right mode?

if you want it to just follow the timer the arming mode for that area needs to be set to timed.
is the zone set to one area, Texecom systems should only have 1 area assigned to a zone.

Back to square one, system won't set if entry/exit door already open, says zone preventing exit etc.

Area A arming mode is Entry/Exit
The front door zone type is entry/exit
No area arm suites configured
