Hi all,
After acknowledging an alarm or disarming the system, the panel emits many "Tick" sounds from Keypads.
"Tick" sound disappears after entering the Engineer code on the 2 Keypads.

Check power, check interference.

Without seeing hearing it can’t comment much more.

i am aware of the keypads may do a clicking sound and usually applies to power or interference and isn’t permanent, but it does suggest something isn’t right.

Thank you for your feedback.

I will disable one of the two keypads to rule out any possibility of a problem.

I should mention that the clicking noise is recent (after installing a wired 8xp) and only occurs after an alarm is acknowledged and the system is disarmed.

After connecting the engineer code on both keypads, the clicking noise disappears.

POWER or INTERFERENCE

as adding the 8XP is when things started I would measure voltage getting to the keypad and the expander.
I would disconnect the expander power and T and R and see if that resolves the problem and measure the voltage at the two keypad

this will give an idea if its power related, or interference, it should also highlight if the expander is causing the problem and it can be looked into in more detail.

whats connected to the expander?
