I kind of broke my Texecom install a while ago after an update (I even found a post I'd done about it here) think I fixed it way back when, and then just ignored it and the alarm fell out of use.
I read somewhere recently that it's actually compatible with Home Assistant (HA), so yesterday, after realising the old laptop I'd used to manage the "site" previously was dead, I got a Windows 11 virtual machine to connect to my Premier Elite 24 through the ComIP, created a new site and pulled all the info from it, so I was reasonably happy that I could manage without the old dead laptop.
I even figured out how to get it all working with HA using the same UDL password, IP and port as Wintex was happy with. Great.
The three ricochet sensors in outbuildings were waaaay out of power from the batteries, so switched those out this evening, thinking I could re-pair them again once I'd figured that out.
Fired up Wintex again and it's having NONE of it. "connection with control panel could not be established" using the same settings as it was happy with yesterday. In fact, arguably, the HA server is also using the same details, and that's still reporting on the sensors with no issue, so I feel perhaps it's Wintex being silly.
Any ideas?
I've been through and checked the IP is the same, port etc, on both the keypad and the software. Latest version of Wintex (which looks like it belongs in 1993 still I see).
Thanks for reading.
