forget this, just got the software via texecom, looks very powerfull bit of software indeed, going to make things so much easier.

anyone know what is needed to hook the tex up to my router, so i can have full control of my panel when away from home? is this possible? can i arm and disarm when not at home?

dont care what it costs, im thinking its going to be the ip module?
you may be better getting a gsm comm you can set partset unset reset turn on outputs ask for a status and receive text messages via your mobile. will work with payg sim.
cheers ill look into what you suggested, just as i can view my cctv when away from home, id also like to have full control of the alarm system, and monitor what the alarm is dooing etc.

There's genuinely a 64 bit version? The 32 bit works fine on my 64bit pc.

hi mate, i had a very very old version of wintex that i found, it wouldnt work on my 64 bit, got the latest version of wintex and it works fine now on my 64 bit.
Wintex works on Windows 7 64bit no problem as you will notice it gets installed in the Programme Files (X86) folder, in other words 32 bit.
