He did declare that he was taking £2k a month as costs. Not stealing or embezzlement, but certainly needs independent scrutiny to maintain credibility.
Credibility with whom?
His detractors are flogging themselves to discredit him, so anything he does will not gain their respect. (Strange that at the same time they claim he has not a chance of success!)
His supporters probably think he deserves a payoff for the work that he has done.

Garbage embezzled EU money...

He's also under investigation for possible illegal use of the money he got from his Sugar Daddy...

Quitters don't seem to be harping on about that

As darrington will be the first to agree, Marcus Ball is innocent of any wrongdoing unless he has been found guilty in court.

Darrington will also agree that Marcus Ball is not being prosecuted.

Doesn’t mean he can’t be ordered to pay costs or sued for damages. He has no statutory protection.

Then darrington had better be careful what allegations he throws around.

He should be prosecuted.
If you ask for "public support/crowdfunding" in raising money for a "certain cause", then spend thousands of it on YOURSELF instead, then that surely, is STEALING/ EMBEZZLEMENT
When you say he spent it on himself, what do you actually mean?

Money raised to support his work effort is to cover all of his expenses, but as he has been working on this full-time for 3 years that must necessarily include his personal living expenses. Just like if someone works for a charity doing fund-raising, that is their job and they get paid for doing their job out of the money the charity raises so that they can afford housing and food etc.

Is there any evidence that Marcus Ball used some of the money he raised to buy a bigger house, or to eat in Michelin starred restaurants when he would otherwise have gone to Nandos, or bought a flash car, etc?

Not quite the definition of expenses though is it?. Sounds more like income from a venture, subject to taxes and whatnot. Still I'm sure he has declared it and paid the appropriate tax, it would be a bit silly if he hasn't. Might have been more credible to create a charity to fight corrupt office holders. it would certainly help his private prosecutions' chances of success.

What is your assessment. I assume you have looked at his expenses.

He did declare that he was taking £2k a month as costs.

How come no one was prosecuted for this weapons of mass destruction caper ?

Blair
Campbell
Ect ect

Maybe it's because you moaned about it, but didn't care enough to mount a private prosecution.
