The collapse of the UK and left-wing socialism

Clapping has been banned at Oxford University.
Nothing to do with offending minorities then?
Therefore nothing to do with wokism.

The word brave was banned at Stanford University.
And swiftly retracted.
So nothing to do with wokism again.

So your examples have nothing to do with 'wokism'.

So your examples have nothing to do with 'wokism'.

Woke is not a word I use. But the examples I gave, and there will be plenty more, are examples of why many people believe things has gone too far. I have always been a great advocate against any sort of discrimination. It's just some of this more silly stuff I now object to.

Well, it certainly isn't yours, as all it does is to show that both your claims were false.

Maybe you should have fact-checked them before uncritically swallowing some clickbait lies you read somewhere.

As far as the Oxford issue is concerned, it was a concern that some students, who have sensory issues, or use hearing aids, may be caused anxiety by the noise.
It is a sensible and empathetic policy, if there are such students in the audience.
If you used hearing aids, you may appreciate the decision.
Perhaps you decry the choice of using sign language at public events also.
Let's exclude those who have sensory issues or use hearing aids.

Do you not want to be empathetic to such students who may be overwhelmed by noise?

The Stanford Uni policy was retracted.

What makes you think anybody is using a thesaurus, either paper or online?
I had to read that twice, the second time more slowly, in order to understand exactly what you were saying.

An excellent definition of woke. It'll leave those using the word, totally baffled.

Have you tried it as a tongue twister?

Or it would really work as drinking game. Recite it, and if you make a mistake, you pay a forfeit. ;)
We're at the self praising stage :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Time to call the men in white coats!

How does posting that link answer the question "what makes you think anybody is using a thesaurus, either paper or online?"?

Surely you're not labouring under the misapprehension that anybody who uses a word which you don't know must have had to look it up first?
You are under a misapprehension.
Asking a sensible question and expecting a sensible answer from an extremely abusive semiliterate person is a waste of time and energy.
He is incapable of posting a comment without resorting to abuse. He believes it validates his superior intellect.
It validates his level of intellect alright, just not in the way he thinks it does.

Not everyone, but you do.
That sketch fits yourself perfectly.

I answered above.
Stop supporting your own posts, it makes you more of a nutcase that you already are.

That article is six years old.

No. Clapping is not banned at Oxford Uni.

Happy to help.

How’s
I don't blame the Tories or Labour for the UK's problems.
I blame the electorate, after all they vote for these parties.
How’s the Monster Raving Loony Party doing these days?

I think the owners of the Reform party would classified as free market libertarians but the Reform base are people who don't really understand how the free market works .
Can I suggest it might be the other way round?

The problem with both fascists and communists is that they are very difficult to vote out because when the polling looks bad for them the elections become rigged or even cancelled.
Should Reform look very strong come 2029 there will be an event of some kind and election will be cancelled. Or perhaps Farage will get nicked.

I'm probably being thick, but I don't really understand what you mean. Who are the fascists and/or communists in this scenario?
