Here's a great way to save our energy reserves simply get tough on immigration and make this country less attractive to anyone who thinks this place is the land of milk and honey (Which it is of course unless your a taxpayer ) . Do what the aussies did and place them on a ship off shore.

Asians by the bucketfull- from all corners of the east.
Japs, chinks, chaps and jinks too. Brits , jocks, paddys and welsh sheep 'lovers'.
Thai ladyboys too., (lucky burgers)' !!
