The Mrs came in p****d out of her head last night an found me in the kitchen.

She immediately dropped to her knees & slurred

"I wanna get really dirty, right here & now !"

I looked at her shook my head and said

"You're drunk, you silly cow... You're in no fit state to clean the oven now so get to bed !

Early in my relationship with Mrs Mottie to be, I made a quip about "is that a gun in your pocket or are just pleased to see me". She was young. She didn’t get it. About 5 years later we were driving along in the car and she burst out laughing. I asked her what she was laughing at and she said "That joke. The one about the gun in the pocket. I've just realised what you were talking about".

This thread makes me happy.....many times ive tried a joke and people go silent....maybe they will laugh and get back to me one day
