Found these in the garden yesterday, proceeding (nearly typed "walking") along an SWA cable.

Perhaps they wanted to be high wire artists - not exactly a high tension act. They were fine, it was only slow voltage. I can't currently come up with any more gags

I used to keep a racing snail, someone told me if I removed the shell it would go faster, they were wrong, just made it more sluggish

On the way back from the pub, Dave admitted he's a shell of the man he used to be. But he was still hardwired to chase the next current thing.
He raced off into the garden steely eyed chased indiscriminately by a copper, though feeling neutral about it, was lined up to trip him up.
