Things under the bed

I was fitting a ceiling rose in a bedroom of a house occupied by a couple of retired teachers, when I spied a sheaf of A4 sheets on top of the wardrobe

The top sheet had a few pics of Mrs teacher in scanty undies, stockings etc, the following sheets revealed Mr & Mrs Teacher in a variety of acts of a sexual nature, later joined by another much younger geezer who was seeing to Mrs teachers lady needs- all taking place in a Travelodge style hotel room

I've done quite a few let properties and messy home owners.

Under beds

Used condoms
Dark (used) tampex- dried up and looking nasty
Crusty hankies
Porn- with paper mache' pages
Batteries- I wonder what they were in ?

Behind wardrobes

Crusty hankies
Sweet wrappers
porn

Do a lot of work for Tracy Emin do you?

I knew someone once who was a policewoman - no kinks or perversions (that I ever found out about) who had some plumbing work done and the guy found a pair of handcuffs under her bed....

In my youth, (16½) I was asked to strip a living room of wallpaper ready for the ladies husband to re-decorate when he came home from working on the rigs. Found some 8mm cine reels on top of a cupboard which she didn't know about and was curious as to what was on them. So, out comes the projector and we set it up.

I'd seen the mags but never a film!

Took me 3 days to strip that room as we watched each film together!
But I left as a MAN!!!

(And I still got paid for doing it! The wallpaper stripping that is, ;) )

I had a domestic job a couple of summers ago in a bungalow. Outside lighting problem lead into new 1.5mm black flex into the loft into the new PIR then off to the lights via a contactor (DIY job before). I had to crawl around the loft pulling the new flex in while trying to find the old feed. Track it to a jb then off to some 1.5mm t+e to a spur in a back bedroom. So we asked the owner if we could go in, in broken English he said can we come back tomorrow. No problem off to a couple more jobs and came back the next day. In that room there was a small Cannabis growing plant. I suspect that what it was ;) No idea what was there the day before when he asked us to live. Was a little shocked. I Finished and walked off. The guy I was working with just sat outside deciding what to do.

We never even got paid for the job.

Edit: Was asked by a mate to have a quick look at his parents alarm system. Big house even had zone expanders. While finding the fault I had to find the zone expander on the new extension (4 rooms, kitchen, attic). This was in the back of a big walk in wardrobe. Me and a mate of mine I drafted in who was good with larger alarm systems gave me a hand. So with no lighting in this wardrobe (second job to do there) and we could stand in it we started to get the floor up (suspected cabling fault). Armed with 110V site lights.

A little busy with the job and in a rush we never look around us. We got the floor up in the dark. So we find the fault put the floor back down. Put the zone expander back together and look around.

We see bondage gear, chains, whips all around us. This is my mates parents house who I had known for years. We panic. About to leave and my mate walks in with a cup of tea. Looks inside his parents wardrobe to see where the fault was and asks us to promptly to leave.

Then we notice the big solid metal welded bed and it all made sense.

Never spoke to my mate much after that.

When I was 15, was helping a lad I know rewire a house.

A couple and a lad, about the same age as me, at the time.

The lad I was working for decided to have a route through the bedrooms and found a DVD of the couple going at it, then proceeded to steal the young lads weed stash from under his bed.

Most of the day he spent watching DIY porn smoking a spliff.

There I was, aged 15, thinking - This is the job for me haha!

I found an old newspaper under a carpet once that was dated the same day as the actual date it was. (1 in 365 chance !)

I can go one better. I pulled back someone's carpet to find a picture of my sister staring at me! It was in an old MEN* from a report where she had won a prize for her studies.

Manchester Evening News.
