This Will Not Work For The Patient

I believe they are paid enough now, they do a great job and deserve more but the reality is that the NHS cannot afford to pay them more without reducing other services.
Junior Doctors shouldn’t be striking for more pay after a 29% rise last year.

BMA are stupid, they won’t get support from the public striking just before Christmas.

Esp given there is the likelihood of a serious flu virus spreading from Japan coming soon.

Clearly you’ve not been there, as the data shows you are wrong.
My son had to use the hospital in Spain a few years back, he had a consultation then seen a specialist doctor, got the antibiotics all in about an hour £300 claimed back on the insurance....it was spotlessly clean and very efficient we couldn't believe it.

What if Reform did away with the NHS, as per the suggestion by Farage in that video I posted?
Will never happen.
Some politicians bang on projects and ideas just for publicity and impact.
HS2 for example.
You misunderstood my reply.
You said that you cost the NHS little to nothing.

Presuming you were born in Italy or a private hospital here, and were covered by insurance for your entire life until now, I'd agree.

But the tab is not settled until you're gone, and not costing the NHS anything is as much a case of luck as anything else.

I'm not looking to argue with you BTW.
Sure, I might end up costing the NHS quite a bit in the end.
That doesn't change the fact that overall I have saved the NHS a bucket of money in my lifetime.

What puzzles me is that it takes them 7 years to train as a Dr, before this they studied for A levels to get into Uni, they probably have Drs in the family. They already know the pay scale, the hours and the career progression before they start. Why.strike when they complete it all and hold the country to randsome?
