can anybody advise me i have a problem with the controller to the backboiler ie when central heating is called for manually it dosent click
in . where as if i call for hot water it does .i have recently bought a new rwb9 siemans controler as the old one was all distorted at front screen
any advise would be apprecieated regards

have you fitted the new controller yet, if so has it cured the problem, or are you asking how to fit the new one

mick ive already fitted new controller its just when i put the central heating on either manually or auto it doesnt click down at the back of the boiler

have you got a room stat, and is it turned up.

do you have motorised valves. 1*3port, or 2*2port.

hello mick i have just checked the thermostat and it is on high
the motorised valve has also just been changed it is a honeywell
va 4073a1039 im not sure what one it is but to the left =a middle =ab and right is b
if this is any help regards colin

why was the honeywell valve replaced

can you test electrics,

with heating on and water off there should be 230v at white and grey wires of valve.

hello mick the valve was replaced because the spring mechanism
had gone totaly
i will try to get someone to check those wires and let you know

i have taken all wires out of connecter block
reinstated them all and would you believe it
i have heating .cant thankyou enough
