three pin plug stuck in socket

you are going to remove the damaged socket and replace with a new one, aren't you?

if it got hot enough to weld the brass pin to the contacts, or it seized, it will be damaged.
 
If you had to pry the plug out, you most certainly will have damaged something inside, and possibly even damaged the terminals. Get it replaced.
