Gary Rhodes, Clive James and Jonathan Miller.
Banged his head I read?!Sorry....beaten to itWhat happened to Rhode though, cancer?
No..sadly.guess when your times up your times up, it would be nice to be surrounded by those important in your life but it doesn't always work out that way does it?
Jonathan Miller was a very intelligent guy and good presenter...Everything from Monthy Python type humour....medical programme presenter etc.Another graduate of the Cook Moore etc Cambridge Footlights.Yep. Read years ago a column from Clive James about his COPD and how it meant he could no longer fly from UK to Oz. I guess that's what got him in the end.
What happened to Rhode though, cancer? Said his wife was by his bedside, so I assume it was something like that.
Never heard of Jonathan Miller though.
My MIL had a fall this year, got a bleed on the brain followed by a blood clot on her lung, she's 88 and pulled through, but she has wanted to die since her stroke, always has her DNR from filled in ready, seems so unfairoh, just read that Rhodes slipped and hit his head in the shower.

As brilliant and as funny as he was...Clive James was always interesting and funny; and a climate change sceptic.
Could you list his scientific qualifications?

After all, despite all the available health evidence he was a heavy drinker/smoker
There are always people who have contrary opinions.
Here's one who was very prominent in the UK media until recently as a climate-change denier

Who to believe, hmmm?
The problem was that BBC producers felt impelled to provide balance, so for every truthful guest, they liked to provide an untruthful one.
Eventually there was an outcry when he was permitted to spout lies without being challenged
