I couldn't agree more, with the pair of you, but my worry is, how can you be 100% sure they're guilty?

An adult killing a child for sexual reasons is a no-brainer.
They know the score, and should suffer the ultimate penalty.

Kids killing kids, is a hugely different scenario... what if a 4 year old got cross with another over a toy car, pushed him over and her cracked his head and died?

Bulgers killers were different, they seem to be aware they were kidnapping and torturing a younger child... what satisfaction did they get from that? It would take a hugely experienced team of child psychologists to get anywhere near understanding that...

My gut feeling is that Jamie Bulgers killers stand a chance of being brought up better and steered away from further crimes - I could be very wrong - but maybe give them a second chance? monitor their internet (i.e. porn) activities and make a judgement on their behaviour...
