Ticking radiator

I have had the floor boards up and checked that all the pipes that were visible are free from intrusion. However, even though I have removed the radiator the pipe remaining still ticks away.... Any help would be appreciated

what about the rad brackets are they nice and secure?

I wonder if it might be transmitted noise from the pump motor?

plum haveyou got trvs could be rust or debri stuck in them but usually when you open them full noise should go. if its a fast then getting slower tick its pipe cooling i get that in bathroom, bedroom. plumbers just layed pipes on joists im a diyer and wouldnt have done that tick tick. youve got to listen very carefully turn all noise off in house and listen follow the noise i know where my ticking comes from just a pain pulling floor up.
