Tile corner broken off

my house is about 20 years old and has interlocking Roman concrete tiles. I noticed there are a couple of places where the lower right hand corner of the tile is broken off. I noticed a neighbour has the same problem. Does anyone know why always this corner is prone to breakage? Is it common?

A weak point of the interlock. Normally done when walked.

It's not a problem as long as the channel of the adjacent tile remains - which is normally the case.
