Tiling Advice

Hi all

I have been given the task of tiling our bathroom and the Mrs has her heart set on having small rectangular tiles. However I am not to sure on how to go about tiling the ledge and around the window as shown in the attached photos.
These tiles going to look daft this way?
Too small slither?
Better to use larger tiles?

Hoping for some advice on the way to go please?

You could increase the height of the cill and do it exactly two tiles. Looks like the frame is deep enough.
With these I always try and have cuts in the internal corners as it looks daft with the bevel

I've used these tiles quite a bit: they are a bit marmite but I like them. I'd put a soldier course under that window.
