Tiling over tiles

Hi all,

I am not a tiler but have tiled one bathroom before with large A4 size tiles and all went well.

I have to tile a complete bathroom that has a shower in one corner (fast shower powered by unvented cylinder).

The bathroom is perfectly well tiled as it is but owner hates tile colour.

I am considering whether to tile over the existing tiles as this would make the job swifter, less hassle etc. I will research this some more but just wondered what general thoughts are?

Thanks!

my answer is always the same, take the tiles off 1st, what are you going to do next time he doesnt like the colour? tile over again? and again and again?

before you know it you got less room and the walls are curving!!

do the job properly and remove the old tiles!!!!!!!!
