tiling without grout lines...........?

S

as the house is going for sale were looking to tidy things up and have managed to get some "fake.." sandstone wall tiles

plan is to over tile the existing walls and fix them without a spaced gap so they look solid

any thoughts?

Don't bother mate - it's not fair on the next owner. You might not believe it but tiles do expand and contract (albeit only a small amount). With no grout gap, the expanding tiles sometimes "tent" away from the walls.
The other problem with leaving no grout gap is that you have to get each tile absolutely perfectly flat to its neighbour or the corner will stand out a mile.
