TIME DELAY SWITCH question

I Need a time delay switch for an outdoor 3KW I/R heater, to keep those poor people that have to go outside the pub to smoke, warm . Does anyone know of one that is capable of switching it. This is the only one i have found so far, but its only rated at 10A.

that was my first suggestion to the L/Lord but he wanted a quick fix, so i thought some of you chaps may know of an easier route, ie a higher rated switch!!!! cheers for the advice

Immersion heaters are 3KW so get yourself an immersion heater timer.

Will the contacts of an immersion time switch cope with the high inrush currents of a halogen load?

I would be inclined to go with a 'touch' type IP rated switch and a small din rail contactor.

It doesnt say halogen. Its an IR heater.

Just stick a 3kW immersion heater timer on and stop worrying.

Its got to be a simple PUSH to switch on and the heater will go off in the set time. thats the problem. Looks like ill tell him to disconnect one of the Lamps in the heater, then he can use the screwfix switch.
