Hi folks,

There are plenty of 'time lag switches' around (both plate and grid, many made by Danlers) which have adjustable 'on' times up to 2 hours. Does anyone know of one which can do 3 hours or more?

Kind Regards, John.

What about something like this plus retractive switch(es) to trigger it?

Time delay from 0.1s to 100h

Thanks. That ought to do nicely, and (with it's very wide range of delay times) is worth knowing about for future reference; it probably doesn't cost much more than it would cost me to put something together from scratch (which I thought I might end up having to do). I can't yet ascertain for certain whether that particular one to which you have linked is a 24V or 230V one, but I'm sure I'll be able to work that out.

Kind Regards, John.

I don't know what voltage it is TBH I never even thought to look. There's loads of similar things on RS and probably cheaper from CPC.

The range apparently includes 24V ('AC/DC') and 230V AC models, but the documentation to which they link seems to refer to pages not included in the link to tell one which is which!

Anyway, as you imply, now that I know who makes them, I can look around (and shop around). many thanks again.

Happy New Year.

Kind Regards, John.
