Nah you are just blinkered, the war in Afghanistan caused widespread refugees as did all of the other wars. You think after a war it all goes back to normal. Blinkered.

Well as I have said for ever on here, some became genuine refugees, the families. Women and children with their fathers, that is what I call a family of refugees. What we are seeing with the small boats are a very small sprinkling of genuine refugees, the rest is an army of single men of fighting age and not genuine refugees seeking help.

Dunno about you but if that was the case, you’d think they would stop at the first safe country they come to and try getting their family to the same safe country from there, as soon as possible. Not go from safe country to safe country to hanging about in a safe country, possibly for months, then pay thousands to a criminal and risk their life crossing the worlds most dangerous shipping lane to get to yet another safe country. Is that what you would do?

More total nonsense - if where they are fleeing is at risk, the last thing the head of the family would do is flee, leaving his family in peril. The single men, are just that - single men, economic migrants.
