To all those that welcome/encourage the small boat migrants.

what’s your solution to the small boats crisis

Reform party certainly don’t have one……although you are going to vote for them
They are going to evict everybody from the HMO's and hotels and elsewhere, and let them stay erm, erm, erm, erm, somewhere else. Just nobody knows where or what this somewhere else is. 2 doors down the road maybe.

There are 2 different problems to solve.

Cutting the numbers arriving, and dealing with those here.

Until somebody gets a grip on it, with a serious workable plan then no matter how many protests and/or riots happen those people will still need to be housed. The riots and extra security needed just help ramp up the costs to us all, making a few people richer, but as long as the diversion is created and "foreigners" are the problem, it will continue.

We have and still have too many to deal with, but just shouting at them isn't going to change anything, other than create more division and hate, and therefore crime, another expense.

If Reform actually had a plan, or ideas, then I could understand people supporting them, but just following the loose rhetoric is pointless

No it hasn't. The foreign aid budget has increased by about 30% since the boat people started arriving in significant numbers.
2021 - £11.4 billion
2025 - £15.3 billion.

You are misunderstanding real and nominal amounts. In other words, the effect of inflation.

The foreign aid budget is set as a percentage of GDP.

In 2021 it was cut from 0.7% GDP to 0.5% GDP.

Labour has cut it again from 0.5% GDP to 0.3% GDP. That is the lowest level since 1999.

I was talking to some girls today whilst at work, they was doing the usual thing, whistling at me and making rude suggestions towards me, anyways I was talking about my legs and the conversation got onto socialism, it got pretty interesting and got to admit they convinced me to join the young socialists group. Whether I go or not is irrelevant as they did make quite a convincing case.

Oh!! My!! God!!

You are getting confused by what has been proposed, and what has actually happened.

Aid spending fell from £15.2 billion in 2019 to a low of £11.4 billion in 2021, before rising to £12.8 billion in 2022 and £15.3 billion in 2023. These recent rises have not led to an end to spending pressures: in 2023 28% of UK aid was spent in the UK on the costs of hosting refugees, up from 3% in 2016.

The 'proposes' reductions are starting this year for 25/26.

Word salad.

The foreign aid budget has been cut twice. No increase in real terms.

But I never lie, so I couldn't do that.

To be honest, it made a refreshing change to see you try to argue some facts. Usually, you just insult people or try to gas light them. But I can see now why you don't try it very often.
:ROFLMAO: proper triggered.
You hate being proven wrong, don't you.

You are so ridiculous.

:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

Do you really still think you were correct. Are you unable to analyse simple information.

Just stick to the riddles and the pop psychology in future.

I actually enjoy being wrong as it means I have learnt something. !t doesn't happen very often, though, on here ;)

I'm just going off the house of commons library figures. The ones you called 'word salad'.
Your use of the term 'gaslighting' is interesting too.
Is that how you normally refer to information that is contrary to your progressive ideology?
Gaslighting!
That's a bit pathetic really.

Now you are trying to gaslight me about gaslighting.

You could have just said thanks for the info.
I think he's already done that, to an extent, but he just can't bring himself to say the the 'thanks' bit.
Not to someone he considers to be a far right peasant, anyway.
Probably quote the same figures himself in a couple of days to claim the credit.
