Hi

My dad is currently rejigging the position of the kitchen in his house. The new position of the kitchen would mean that there is a short corridor coming off the kitchen leading to a doored room which contains a toilet and washbasin.

We have a similar arrangement in our house, though I was not sure whether this would meet building regs.

anybody got any comments on this ?

cheers

sorry for being daft simon, but what exactly is your question?

so long as you have two doors separating kitchen from toilet, which would involve a passage of some description, i think b.c. are cool with it.

Hi noseall

Sorry I was a bit vague. I wanted to know whether 1 door would be sufficient, otherwise he will have to move a radiator and fit another door.

cheers

As long as there is a hand basin within the WC, only one door is required between the kitchen and toilet.

Salem.
