I was hoping to spend Saturday afternoon and Sunday finishing off my garage.

Is this weather definitely too cold? I have loads of DPM which I can use to cover it up at night...

this was Wednesday and it was freezing,... so long as you cover it up it appearts you are fine... Inspected mine last night and it looks okay... tried pulling a stone off and its well stuck... It got a lot to do with water staying fluid and interacting with the cement.. if it freezes, this does not happen and it reduces the joint strength and can turn it to powder....
you can also use cold weather addatives if you like?...
cover it it and it should be fine is the advice I was given ;)

it will be fine, im still laying bricks and ive seen plenty others too.
just cover it with hessian at night
