Tool to remove metal screw plug

Apart from simply taking some pliers and ripping the following metal screw plug out the wall is there a known tool to remove it with less damage to the wall?

Snap the fronts off and push the remainder inside the wall...

Put the screw back in such that it is threaded a couple of turns and gently tap with a hammer. This will straighten out the rear compressible parts of the fitting. You will just about be able to feel when its all the way back. You can then use the screw to pull it cleanly out of the wall.

6mm hss bit, drill out and inner will fall inside while outer falls off.Should be left with original hole.
