Tories Are Gone.

Remember claims of whips bullying junior mp's - the mind boggles.

Shocking. Out of interest, have there ever been any scandals in the Labour party?, one or two?, maybe?

The Top 50 (or so) Labour Sleaze Scandals

Was there ever a more hubristic statement than this? "My government will be whiter than white" - Tony Blair in 1997. It provokes a hollow laugh now. Can there ever have been a sleazier government in British political history? The record of this government makes any misdemeanours which occurred during the Major years look rank amateur in comparison. No wonder people think all all politicians are either having it away or on the make. Just in case you're in any doubt about the amount of sleaze there's been since 1997, here's a quick reminder. I've identified 56 (yes, 56!) different Labour sleaze scandals since 1997. I'm sure I've missed out a few though, so do post a comment and I'll add anymore to the list. If you're going to dump a load of C&P *******s to distract from the shocking level of depravity of the Tory party, at least have some paragraph breaks.

What about Blair’s mate, that Peter Mandleson bloke. Didn’t he have to resign twice? Something about a loan for a house and another time for getting someone a dodgy passport.

At least twice, then got a nice little earner in the EU.

Poor Fillyboy, he knows Johnson is now on borrowed time.

He may well be, still interesting to look back on Labour scandals. Meanwhile, IT complains about paragraph spacing and and a retired teacher from Wales is bitching about the colour of passports,

Remainers, don't you just love 'em?

I loved to watch that as a kid but now...well, he couldn't get away with a pose like that nowadays without questions about his, er, 'preferences', would he?

a bit like Farage then
Probably, but let’s not forget Jeremy Thorpe, Ron Davies, Paddy Pantsdown and Labour’s cash for honours scandal to name but a few. Yes, there are 'wrong 'uns' in all political parties and despite the fact that some on here keep trying to give the impression, it’s not restricted to just the Conservative party.

Right now it does seem heavily skewed to the Tories.

Because they have control and people love to put blame on the controlling party. Nobody's interested in blaming the opposition. It'd be different if Labour were in number 10. The same critics on this forum would be blaming them.

Sounds like classic 'whataboutery' to me. Yes, any political party in power is open to this kind of criticism but Tories do seem to specialise in this kind of booze and bungs kinky party behaviour we've all come to know and loathe.
