Hi

My house has full central heating using microbore. The main bedroom radiator has started leaking - it's the actual radiator that's leaking - 27 years old. As we only use this radiator when its really cold I thought of replacing it with a pre-finished ladder type radiator, but mounted on it's side so that I can still use the existing twin-entry valve.

Does anyone know if this will work OK with the towel rail mount sideways?

Well it would work but the output wouldn't be high. Er, why not use, a radiator?

You may need a longer insert with the twin entry valve with a towel rail to avoid short circuiting between the flow and return water. You can probably make a suitable insert from microbore tube.
