When selecting heating, screen presents me with a flashing 5.0°C & flashing house with thermometer.
Mode button does not alter screen. I am only able to enter advanced programming modes from this screen.
Light remains constantly on.

Hot water option presents clock as standard and mode button cycles through various modes.

When boiler is set to water & heating, heating remains always on.

Is there a fault with unit?

I assume the boiler doesn't fire up when only central heating is being called for ?
The status shown in your pic is calling for the boiler to ignite ,if it doesn't I would be looking at the motorised valve.

Thanks.
I had heating, "Number of Events per day" in "stat" mode.... Whatever that is?
I've set this back to 6, factory default.

This has enabled the mode function to work.
Although light on top right unit remains on - should this always be on as default.

I'm trying to enable the heating to be always off, only on with boost and when manually set to on using mode button.
