There is cable coming out of the kitchen wall that will be used to wire up lights on the underside of the cupboards and also for spotlights along the top of the cupboards. However this cable is coming out at a much lower point than where the cupboards begin so I will have to track this cable back up the wall to the cupboards, am I right? You can see pictures of this here.

How should I go about this? My initial thoughts were to use an angle grinder and carve a small trench in the wall and run the cable up it, then just tile over it.

What do you think? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Is the cable running horizontally or vertically between two visible accessories?
