Hello, recently been given a quote for double French doors and an internal door to be cut out and installed. Very happy with the price but the tradesman is asking for half the money upfront so he can order the French doors!!!! Is this normal??? HELP!!!!

I believe so,
If they are made to measure then it would be a kick in the teeth for them to make them and you cancel the order, they are left with useless doors.
