Transformer on all the time

Hi,

I have plugged in a portabl aerial which has a transformer (12dcv)

is it ok to leave this plugged in 24\7?

Must have a built in booster. It should be ok to leave plugged in, but if it makes you feel better, unplug it.
 
why portable then?

There are purpose made signal boosters that are designed to be plugged in 24/7.
 
Why not drop down the wall to a fused switched spur so you can turn it off when you go to bed.
