Have a Triton T75 electric shower for just over 2 years and only recently been experiencing issues with the neon lit on off button on the front in that it has begun to require several attempts pressing the button in order to turn the shower off.

What could be causing this issue and should it be a plumber or an electrician to take a look at it? Eyes aren't as good as they once were so preferably a professional to have a look as the shower is out of warranty.

On that note how long are showers approximately (TRITON) meant to last given that this particular shower isn't always used on a daily basis?

Triton guarantee their product for two years , so that is its life span anything over that is a bonus , time for a new model .
