Trump is suing the BBC for Ten Billion USD.

If you read their claim it’s about the sequence of words which is the material issue. He did not utter the sequence of words. Hence the edit gives a mistaken impression that he made a direct call for violence. It’s that simple.

Trumps speech on Jan 6th incited violence

BBCs Panorama programme gave the impression Trump made a direct call to action

the only different is that in the actual speech Trump made a call to action which rambled on for almost an hour

A crafted and contrived claim.

Another great demonstration of "The law is an ass".

It will be a straightforward case then.

The beeb lawyers must be quaking in their boots.

I wonder why they are defending such an easy case

I for 1 won't be silenced by such threats.

I stand up for honour, decency and morals.

If that means I can't go to the USA, then I won't go. But I won't bend over

Yes - that is EXACTLY what happened. The BBC got it spot on. No case to answer.
No need for them to apologise then, pity they disagree

Trump wanted his riot - he gave the riot speech - the speech-goers rioted.

The BBC got it spot on. No case to answer. They condensed a rambling riot speech is all. Sensible editing.
