I have always been given to understand that at least one radiator in a system should not have a tvr fitted so as to avoid the pump and boiler running when all radiators were closed off.

However I was on a site of a tvr maker and they stated that all radiators could and should have them fitted.

Which is correct ?

They may be saying that on the proviso that the CH system has an auto-bypass built into the design. A lot of systems won't have an auto-bypass therefore one radiator is left without a TRV to allow the boiler/pump to overrun without damage.
Oh and it's TRV BTW :) unless it sounds great and does 160mph :p

Do you mean actually visiting their premises or just on their website?

If the latter, can you provide the link?

Spot the difference.

how about 1 on each, both pointing in the direction of the flow, might get a bit of velocity noise though
