It's a German Schuko trailing socket and plug.
It might have only two pins, but the other bit of metal is the earth connection.

Just get a new three-core cable and fit British socket and plug.

Does socket A connect directly to socket B via that white cable. ?

If it does then the exposed pins in the red plug would have to be Live to get power to the 13 Amp socket via the white lead,

Exposed pins that can become Live are extremely dangerous,...

You need an electrician before you get a need lead.

    Second thoughts

Is the red plug fitted on the mower, if yes then where does 13 amp socket B connect to ?

Still dangerous if the power comes out of a 13 amp plug into socket B

Yes. Red plug socket is on lawnmower.
The other on short white cable is the dodgy connection setup which I have removed
As as you say it must be dangerous.

replacement 10m leads with moulded 13A plug and shuko socket are available as a spare part from homebase so I suspect from any shed selling mowers that use them.

Thanks Sunray, I tried b and q , no joy
    Will try homebase at weekend.

Efl "Its aGerman Schuko trailing socket and plug.

    That was very helpful.
The RS I can find are 2pin to 2 pin.

But on the lawnmower it says wolf tools
So I think this website might be the UK dealer.
Don't know but asked them in email about this lead in email yesterday. No reply yet.
