two-way and intermediate lighting

Hey is there any bright sparks out there who know how to easily explain how to wire a two-way intermediate lighting circuit??Could anyone show me by using a COLOURED wiring diagram using pvc singles colours red,black and red.I'd really appreciate it if anyone could it'd help me a great deal!
