And "getting away with it"?? He served one of the longest prison sentences in modern British history for a peaceful protest - how is that "getting away with it"?

His sentence and subsequent deportation order were criticised by the UN, religious leaders, Nobel Prize laureates and hundreds of thousands of ordinary people.
