Ukraine counter offensive

As I have mentioned before, I am fascinated by all things Trump. We truly are living through unprecedented times. Although I really, really don't like him, I am keeping an open mind on most aspects. I posted an article last week about Trump being the perfect person at the perfect time to reshape the world order in a positive way for the USA. But here is just one contrary view from an article I was sent:

A Russian international affairs scholar, who can speak only privately, remarked to me from Moscow that Putin’s team sees Trump’s team as a clown car, full of amateurs — easy pickings for the savvy and cynical Putin’s ultimate goal: “MRGA — Make Russia Great Again (and Make America Less Great Again).” Putin’s long-term goal, he added, is to manage the decline of U.S. hegemony so that America is “just one of the peer great powers,” focused on the Western Hemisphere and withdrawn militarily from Europe and Asia. Putin sees Trump as his blunt instrument “to manage that inevitable decline.”

Will Trump and his G.O.P. bobbleheads ever wake up to that? Maybe — when it’s too late.

Just said on the news "details of the deal have not been made public".
Trump is beyond disgusting, he negotiating tactics have been entirely built on blackmailing Ukraine.

Oh and massively lying.

Trump says
1) America has given $350b to Ukraine - that’s a total lie
2) EU have given money in form of a loan to Ukraine -that’s a total lie
3) Zelensky is a dictator - that’s a lie
4) Zelensky has 5% approval rating - that’s a lie
5) Ukraine started the war - that’s a lie

Come on Filly, please explain why you support such truly horrible person

“The February 24 version of the agreement, which was seen by journalists”

After intensive negotiations, the parties reached a preliminary agreement. Yesterday, the Financial Times wrote that the parties had agreed on the terms of the fossil fuel deal and that Washington had dropped its most stringent demands. According to Ukrainian officials, they agreed on much more favorable terms.

The FT specifies that Washington has dropped its claim to $500 billion in potential revenue. The February 24 version of the agreement, which was seen by journalists, provides for the creation of a fund to which Ukraine will contribute 50% of the revenues from the future monetization of resources, including oil and gas. The fund will invest in projects in Ukraine.

However, it will not include mineral resources, which are already paid to the state budget, and it will not cover the activities of Naftogaz and Ukrnafta, Ukraine's largest gas and oil producers.

However, the agreement makes no mention of the US security guarantees that Kyiv had initially insisted on in exchange for agreeing to the deal, the FT writes. It also leaves issues such as the size of the US share in the fund and the terms of joint ownership agreements for future agreements to be considered.

He's making it difficult for the billionaires to sell from their china factories. He's not good for billionaires.
It’s interesting how people like you are easily conned

Trump is going to slash corporation tax and put tax on imports instead.

That’s literally taking from ordinary citizens and giving it billionaires.
