Just a quick one. Is it considered acceptable to wire the flex from two or more under counter lights directly to a switched FCU? This would be by far the easiest way of me connecting my under counter lights which run off to different parts of the kitchen. Off course I could put a jb or choc block in under the counter but wanted things to keep things as tidy as possible.

Is connecting more than one higher load appliance to a single fcu (all things considered, load and fuse etc) considered acceptable?

Thanks in anticipation.

If it's under-cupboard lights you're connecting & the total load is sub 13A, then wire them to the same point by all means. Just put a suitable fuse in the FCU.
