Following on from the unethical thread whats the most unethical thing you've done that you want to admit to?

Blagging my way out of a speeding ticket, firstly by ignoring the NIP, then stating how do you expect me to remember, who was driving my car at that time, as I had loaned it to two different people around that time.

when did this happen? i am led to believe if the owner cannot name the driver then the owner takes the hit, happened when one of our vans went through a speed camera, ticket came in and due to different people driving nobody took the blame and the driver couldn't be traced from 3-4, ended up the MD was advised if a drivers name was not put forward he would need to take the 3 points, after a couple of phones calls, one of the suspects held his hand up

It happened about six years ago, the reason I blagged my way out of it was because the camera in question, was cunningly concealed behind a large road sign.
I did have to send my licence to court, but fortunately it came back without points.

Well thanks a bunch Tim, you opened the thread inviting people to reveal their dark secrets, then leave them out on a limb, you could at least put a blindfold and ear muffs on sooty, while you fess up to your unethical misdemeanor.

AFAIK... The police quote sections of the RTA in a NIP, but they omit a paragraph that follows, something about you have to try your best to identify the driver but if you have tried and still cannot o so then they cannot do you.
