WDIK, this word rafinate, or indeed rafination, has got be disturbed. What on earth is it all about?

I'm saying nowt mate. :D I'd read or heard something about the process somewhere so I had a bit of a head start but that's all I know. I'm no Chemist... come to think of it my neighbour but one is an Industrial Chemist... We've probably been mulling over Raffination during our chats whilst out mowing the lawn.... as you do! :D
