Not good enough - if building control say it hasn't been notified then quite simply it hasn't been and the builders need to get it sorted, or all you can do is threaten to get it done yourself and then bill them for it.
Will do.Not good enough - if building control say it hasn't been notified then quite simply it hasn't been and the builders need to get it sorted, or all you can do is threaten to get it done yourself and then bill them for it.

Get a quote from a different G3 person to do whatever it takes to get it registered. Tell the builder to sort it or you will issue a claim against them for the cost of the new G3 person. Then claim against them if the don't cough up.I'm getting lost now how I sort this

Not when it was done by a previous owner.Could this cause aggro long term if going through a sale?
I've never been asked to provide a G3 unvented cert which is why this caused all the confusion if I even needed one.I didnt realise you needed this for unvented.
I loved in to a place with unvented i think knstalled by the previous owner who was a gas engineer.

The county doesn't matter really as long as the address is the same - My address is in 3 different counties, depending on who is sending me things.OK magically a building compliance slip as turned up from the GSR
However two errors
1) The address is slightly wrong it states the wrong county even those the house address and post code is correct
2) it says "Install a hot water system with vented hot water storage" when it was an unvented cylinder
Will this be a problem?
Cheers I'll give the GSR a ring tomorrow! The county doesn't matter really as long as the address is the same - My address is in 3 different counties, depending on who is sending me things.
The type of install is though. Both Unvented and vented cylinders need to be notified to the LABC but an Unvented cylinder is a regulated appliance and must be installed by a person that is specifically qualified as competent to do that work (HWSS/G3 Quals) and they would normally self certify. A vented cylinder can be installed by plumbers etc that don't hold the UV qualification but still needs to follow building regs and be LABC notified or through a CPS.
