Unvented Cylinder installation - how much?

Just polling - what's the going rate on your manor for a "standard" installation of one of these? Say it's an £800 cylinder replacing a vented indirest cyl and the supply is ok, discharge straightforward. In reality OK nothing's standard, but let's pretend. Saw two pretty standard installations quoted at £2000 and £2500..

Have just been doing one for £460 but I was misled as he said he had bought a Megaflow. It was an Ariston which involves more work!

They even expressed surprise at that price! Should have been more like our usual £700.

would say that thats probably the going rate

we would do the same with a megaflow HE (120 litres) for about 1700 plus vat (supplied and fitted)

so they aint that far out

HE megaflo CL 125 retails from Plumb Centre at 887.19 Plus VAT
add to that the cost of copper (you can bet your life the discharge will be 28mm min)

how do you earn a living, unless you are passing on your discount to a retail client??
